This Week in Magic
The 10 Edition blitz is officially on and Wizards is going to be revealing one card a day until the big "Game Day" on July 14th. You can check out the official spoiler list for 10th edition from WotC here. Squee, Goblin Nabob was the first card shown (in new 10th Edition digs) and yesterday was Underground River. Inquest had an ad listing a bunch of cards that ARE going to be in 10th Edition, features a few surprises like Birds of Paradise! Check out some cool art in the "Countdown to 10th Edition" article on WotC. We also get a bit of Lorwyn flavor by seeing the token art for "Goldmeadow Harrier" that are produced by the Goldmeadow Lookout.

The Gleemax craziness has finally cracked and Gleemax.com is a sort of social MySpace-esque portal and games site (see the full release and discussion on MTGSalvation). Gavin also discusses players receiving the "Gleemox" on MTGO and perhaps hints on how to get one of your own!

This week is the ultra-cool tribe, Golems! Gavin helps me out and we discuss what we feel is the best Golem-based combo, Mycosynth Golem + Emblazoned Golem. Affinity for artifacts works to reduce the cost of the kicker on the Emblazoned Golem and you get a huge fattie in the process! Check out a sample Golem deck list that features lots of artifacts, artifact lands, Tinker, Tolarian Academy and some Cranial Plating goodness!
