This Week in Magic
Basking Rootwalla has been announced as the FNM Foil for April . . . will all the cards for the UG Madness deck be released? Planar Chaos is now available on MTGO, and Gavin is itching to draft! Unhinged has bottomed out on eBay, with booster boxes going for $25 - $30. It's worth it for the lands alone! Raphael Levy wins Grand Prix Singapore, making that back-to-back weekend GP wins, after taking nine years for his second win! Will we see Raph at Worlds 07 in NYC? Only time will tell!
Tom (who left us notes while hiding out on Easter Island) tells us about a trick in MTGO to see all the old school promos, even the ones not released yet! This comes from an article Tom read in Beckett Magazine:
In MTGO, open up your Collection Screen, go the Collection page and set the Number Owned = 0. This shows you every card available now, and some cards that are planned to be released in the future. Now click the Promo tab (Letters are PRM) located between the Vanguard and Mirage tabs. Here is there quick list of interesting promos:
Baron Sengir
Khabal Ghoul
Serendib Efreet
Sylvan Library
Two-Headed Giant of Foriys (pronounced like "Four-eyes", get it?)
Preacher (OH YEAH!)
Tawnos's Coffin
Zuran Orb
Kjeldoran Outpost
Lake of the Dead
Mishra's Factory
